As 2018 draws to a close, the Juven crew celebrated with a Christmas party and secret Santa presents! We also take some time now to reflect on some of our major achievements in this last year.
In 2018…
In May we officially kicked off this blog and began our content marketing with our first post about our vision of Juven as an all-in-one integrated platform for organizations running events.
June saw the launch of our first customized ticketing experience with the launch of the Pulse’s the Hidden Planet, which is an experience room quite unlike any, featuring many light and sound installations.

Thirteen charities for a variety of social and environmental causes were supported
In July we ran our month-long Good Reads for Good Deeds charity campaign, where we support thirteen charities throughout Hong Kong. We also lined up sponsors who gave coupons to donors depending on the amount of the donation.

The charity campaign was supported by James Tien, Audrey Eu, Simon Shen and others
In October we ran our very first seminar held at Olympic House in Hong Kong, powered by Juven’s own platform. We focused on the intersection between digital technology, marketing and the sports sector. You can read a summary of the speakers’ insights here.

Juven was the official ticketing platform for deTour 2018
We became official event partners of PMQ in November, helping them with distributing and deTour2018, and we helped sell tickets to the workshops held for the event. Fittingly for and event titled “Trial and Error”, we made some mistakes in the initial launch and learned quite a few things from it.

Putting the new office together
We have a lot of very exciting things lined up for 2019 that we can’t wait to tell you about, for example we’re moving offices! Our Hong Kong team has grown from seven people in our corner of the Good Lab co-working space, to now three-and-a-half desks for twelve people! (There are thirteen in the picture below because Yong joined us from the Singapore office)We will certainly miss the great vibes and awesome chill-out area at Good Lab, nut we’ve definitely outgrown our allotted space. We’re still looking to hire more people for the product development, so this will be a necessary next step.

Coming soon…
We spent most of 2018 refining our platform for event, event scheduling and ticketing. Since the last development cycle, our focus will be changing towards developing membership functions, such as being able to purchase memberships, renewal periods, virtual membership cards and more.
Other things coming up include organizing another seminar on smart technology with 5 other tech companies at Cyberport (this is not an official announcement though, so stay tuned for that).

Juven team Christmas party
2018 was an amazing journey for Juven, we’ve doubled the size of the team, and grew the number of organizations on Juven by over 15 times! Here’s hoping 2019 will be even more amazing.
We hope that 2018 was a great year for you, and let’s catch up in 2019! From all of us at Juven, we wish you all a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
